As with any cool phenomenon there needs to be a day to celebrate it. It’s January 8th. I have heard some argue that this should be the official 108 Day. Our other option though is October 8th. Let’s start a dialogue about having the “official” 108 Day… here are my thoughts:
January 8th can be represented as either 01/08 or as 1/8. October 8th can be represented as 10/08 or 10/8. Though 108 shows up in a combo for both January and October, only October has the possibility of the three digit only 108. I move that October 8th be the official 108 Day… or do we have to have only one day? Can there be two days? In keeping with the rules though, and the specialness of a 108 occurrence, I think October 8th is the purest example and therefore should be the only day. Thoughts?
jai 108… in my film Y Yoga movie… every dissolve and transition was a multiple of 8. for example 8 frames, 18 frames, 28 frames,48 frames, 108 frames, etc.

in fact their are a 108 frames dropped in drop frame timecode, 2 frames are dropped 54 times in an hour… Go figure…
